Well usually I kill unknown entity a lot. But today I can definitely confirm that I killed Tcx, he is my teammate after all, so a definite identification there...

Hey, at least some info about the timeframe you watch this would be nice. I haven't got a warning or anything, but situations with persistance might arise now where it is relevant. Example: I play on server I, get into an area I got a tent on II and want get stuff / put something in. I log over ... no problem so far. But now I want to go back on I because ... my friends are on there ... II has way fewer players currently ... these two reasons I think are actually good reasons for the server switches, would not consider that cheating...

Just as info, my tent and the stuff in it on II survived Wednesday maintainance and several restarts. Last checked it Thursday noonish. A tent on I vanished between yesterday and today.

EDIT: Something unspecific like "just wait half an hour and you're good" or whatever would be fine, but currently one can worry if an hour is enough or simply try starting with big breaks and making them smaller and just taking the first strike like a man.

I really don't think this will deter hackers, it was much harder to type the guid correctly. But everyone (with fast enough hardware) should record the gameplay when the logs come out. Especially if there is a way (think I read that) to tell BI about hackers...either way, can't wait to get back in ... that pending thingy... ;)

I am not too much into roleplaying, not saying I run around and do nothing but the killing, but I have to take the side of the dude that shot you, at least somewhat.

First of all, I always keep my word, if I say that I wont kill someone and don't get crossed, I won't. But somewhere around where you started fast forwarding your Scottish freedom stuff, I felt a sharp pain in the side of my head that wanted me to see your char dead. There is only so much a man can take ;). I guess I would have at some point ran away screaming for mercy.

What I don't get though, if he wanted to shoot you, why not at the "let's shoot in the air" part, that would have been the perfect opportunity.

WORD !!
But don't panic there are 764 persons whitelisted on this server and only round about 2% are in this list. This means you can still have your kick if the guy you are talking to is straight or not. And by the way, you can't recognize someone if you don't check his pulse.

Ok, with so many ppl it seems like not so much of a problem.

It's simple to work around the check pulse thing by typing in chat though.

This is one of the two main points that worry me concerning private hives, maybe without reason, but nevertheless. When ppl start to get to know each other, one is in a building, someone is out, the situation is tense and they start talking:

"Hey, this is bautschi!, Who are you?"
"Oh, hi bautschi, it's me, random friendly dude 14! Met you before in XYZ, do you remember, let's put our weapons away."

... on public servers you get more traffic with different ppl, an encounter is practically always with someone you don't know. Such a list would make the above situation worse in my opinion, by adding the option

"It's me radom friendly dude 14"
"I don't know you, but I read on the forum, that you are a real nice chap! Let's put our weapons away!"

Of course there are always upsides and downsides, on public hives there are practically no friendly encounteres at all, but I really don't think a list of friendly, unfriendly players would be good.

oups. My mobile is a little bit laggy on this website. Message ive typed under quote disapeared. Or I did something wrong. I was asking if anybody can advice me a program for easy cutting large videofiles. Not pirate one and not too expensive 10-20 eur. I need it before i upload video to inform community about how do hackers play. :)

When you want to know what program to use for cutting, the first question is how do you record, in what format. You don't need to pay money for simply cutting standard recordings in most cases. Try Avidemux, for most formats (maybe all it can use, don't know) it can do a copy of the material without reencoding it and therefore loosing quality. You select a section you DON'T want, set the cut points on I-frames (arrow up and arrow down jump forwards and back only on I-frames), and delete the sections until there is only left what you want ... select "copy" for video and audio and a fitting container (mp4, whatever) and save the thing, done.

If you want a little more info, you can pm me your e-mail address, I made a pdf describing recording with OBS and cutting with Avidemux.
