I think you guys are doing a great job on the server and I also really appreciate the transparency about donations.  :)

I might add a massive wave of desync hit me fleeing south from combat at Myshkino tents. I suspected it announced the close proximity to a camp, so if DayZ wouldnt be buggy like that (desyncing when close to camps) I would likely not have actively searched for your barrel.

The barrel-burglary might have been me. South-western part of map, middle of 3 trees. Contained AK74, AKM (with sights?) and a Scoped Winchester (which was the only thing I stole).

The resistance you get is not that you guys are new. Its because you behave like complete obnoxious jerks berating him over and over like a pack of hyenas.

Combat log or not, Im amazed how you did not manage to kill someone running in a straight line for 30 seconds (disconnected) within 150 m of TWO of you firing from different angles. If I were you guys Id be ashamed to even tell anyone of this ordeal, so in some way you got balls.

I know that connection issues will keep your character running (if running to start with) for a while. The part about gunfire immunity I dont know though.

Server Events / Re: Event: Bartertown #5

Im generally not keeping up with events you guys got going, but seeing as how its bannable to "crash an event" I would really appreciate (and I think some other players might also) if you included the LOCATION and TIME of your events in server messages, so accidents can be avoided.
Seeing well-geared players and shooting well-geared players is almost always synonymous to me. It would be a shame to be banned for unknowingly stumbling upon an event.

Oldschool DayZ Hardcore Server / Re: K O S - Kill on sight

People play the game differently ofcourse. Some people maybe only want to grow tomatoes, kill zombies and make friends, or whatever.

I mostly like to powergame, go inland, almost always lone-wolfing, spot people before they see me and kill them.

But imo there is a lot of hypocrisy going around concerning killing in DayZ. Most everyone likes combat but everyone also wants to be the good guy; the guy who shoots because he "has to" or because he was being shot at first. These people go out looking for trouble by visiting coastal hubs, making seemingly innocent generic conversation with random coastal tourists, often running in circles around them to not be an easy target UNTIL: either literally nothing happens or shit goes down, enabling PvP with a "clear conscience". You can see it all the time on semipopular youtube channels with goofy music playing in the background 90% of the time. These guys are the real KOSers, instigating dangerous situations.

I often see the argument "its a survival game" and therefore it should make sense to stick together as survivors. That makes sense IN THE REAL WORLD. But in this game true survival is keeping to yourself, staying out of trouble, find food and stay dry. You tried to talk to someone and you died; sadly you just lost at survival. Humans are the most dangerous species in DayZ.
