spotted about 8-9 guys at nwaf an hour or so ago, got 6 of them. You were 3 different groups right? cause otherwise that's just crazy...

Except for the lack of larger squads I haven't really felt much of a difference while the whitelist has been off.
In 0.59 it seemed like the majority of players hung around green mountain(the heli route) and the zeleno/myshkino area which also is true for this patch. But if there's too much coastal shit going on  I volunteer as cleaning crew!

This 3 day test sounds like a good idea to me.

Does it have to be private? Would save you a lot of work for now, guess moderating it would require more time if its public tho. You could also promote it in the chat box etc.

What's the point of having night time when you can turn your gamma up?

So let the boring people do that, It is an advantage sure, but as I was saying I think it's worth it even if some players would "cheat" while others play as intended. Playing during the night creates a different experience which I know a lot of people enjoy.

This would of course only work if the majority of the players on the server agrees that it is worth the risk of someone abusing it. Again to me that would be perfectly fine. Besides there is barely any need to increase gamma now, with the new renderer out.

I miss night time actually, specially now that it actually looks way better.  I know some lame people would increase their brightness/gamma but honestly that's fine by me cause of the completely different experience you get from playing during the night. Some of my favourite moments in DayZ are from fire fights and stalking people during the night. (might've even been on oldschool, way back?)

Don't get me wrong I'm not saying it should be 50/50 day and night but maybe an hour of night time at the end of each cycle. hopefully more people will weight in on this one.

EDIT: Also apparently im slightly retarded since this was supposed to be a response to another thread not a whole new one...
